INSIDE THIS PATTERN
Pizza camo?
"Alpenflage" is a collector's name for the Swiss Army TAZ 83 camouflage. It's also comically known to some as “pizza camo”. It's a six-color pattern consisting of a tan-colored background with white flecks and a light green body, and overprinted with green, red, and black leaf shapes. The bold red would at first glance seem to make this pattern stand out, but it works very well for FIBUA (fighting in built-up areas) environments and alpine terrain. The red effectively disappears in low light and at a distance.
